The Mission
I’ve climbed my way up the corporate ladder to the executive level one very slow and arduous rung at a time for over 30 years. Slow and steady wins the race. No big celebrations, no accolades, a lot of resistance and a shit ton of politics.
I assumed that this is just how it is for every female executive. Throughout my career at various companies you could count MAYBE one or two women on the executive leadership teams. Every woman in these companies had to compete for those very few spots. Sadly, I saw many women just give up along the way.
Then in 2018, I attended my first women's leadership conference. I quickly found out that there were thousands of women just like me out there with the same struggles and same horror stories. Meeting these women changed my life and lifted the heavy burden I didn't even know I had been carrying.
I don't want another woman to feel as alone as I did all those years. There is a wealth of encouragement and support out there for you. You just need to know where to find it.
